CIPD and FIFA Go Head to Head to Engage the Crowds

As HR Directors across the world continue to work hard on trying to find solutions for how the leaders with whom they work can best enhance employee engagement, the CIPD are keen to support them in this endeavour. It was with great pleasure that Real World Group accepted a recent invitation by Steve Gorton of Enabling Development (http://www.enablingdevelopment.com) to run a learning session for the CIPD Northern Branch at the DLA Piper offices in Leeds on 19th June. 

In a case of unfortunate and unforeseen timing, the event saw the CIPD and FIFA battle for audience attention as the event clashed with England’s unlucky appearance against Uruguay in the World Cup – luckily, however, it was proved once again that not everyone is a football fan, and not all football fans in England are fans of the England team!
