Evidence-Based Foundations and Ongoing Research: We are the originators of the Engaging Leadership model, developed over three years by Professor Beverly Alimo-Metcalfe and Dr John Alban-Metcalfe through one of the world’s largest leadership studies, we have also published articles on a variety of topics from ‘AI and leadership’ to ‘hybrid team leadership’.
2. Professional Affiliations and CPD: All consultants are supported to maintain active membership with key professional bodies, including the British Psychological Society (BPS), the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and Professional Coaching Bodies such as the ICF, EMCC and AoC.
3. Quality Assurance and Reflective Practice: We embed reflective practice and knowledge sharing within our consultancy culture to drive continuous improvement.
4. Legislative and Ethical Compliance: All our consultants are cleared to Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), ensuring suitability for public sector work.

Design Principles: We strongly believe in the 70:20:10 learning framework, which emphasises learning through experience and social interactions, not just formal training. Our programmes are grounded in evidence-based models and frameworks but prioritise active practice and real-world application to embed learning effectively. To foster an engaging and conducive learning atmosphere, we leverage real challenges, case studies, self directed learning and engaging support materials.
Creating a Conducive Learning Atmosphere: Our experienced facilitators use proven engagement techniques such as thought-provoking questions, storytelling, and inclusive discussions to spark curiosity and maintain energy. We prioritise creating a respectful, collaborative environment where all voices are valued.
Supporting Learners with Different Levels of Experience: We understand that learners bring diverse experience, knowledge, and learning preferences. To accommodate this we provide a number of supporting methods such as pre reading, peer learning and in moment feedback.
